Lagos HOMS Ajara Estate Road Network Development Project 

Banci Nigeria Limited, a civil engineering, and construction company has embarked on the construction of a network of roads for Lagos Home Ownership Mortgage Scheme (HOMS) Ajara Phase I & II for Lagos State New Towns Development Authority (NTDA) located at Torikoh in Ajara-Torikoh, Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State. Lagos HOMS is a government initiative created to encourage and support home ownership of First-Time Buyer residents of Lagos State so as to purchase decent and affordable homes. Lagos HOMS is to bridge the housing deficit gap in Lagos State.

 It is the intention of BNL to carry out this project following International Standards and in particular, the regulatory requirements of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) as it relates to Federal Ministry of Environment (FMEnv.) EIA Act (Decree No. 86) of 1992. It is also in conformance with Banci Nigeria Limited policy on sustainable development. BNL, therefore, commissioned Rain Forest Limited to carry out a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) study to support the housing project.
