Chevron Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of Chevron Africa & Latin America Exploration and Production (CALAEP) and operator of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation/Chevron Nigeria Limited Joint Venture, operates from both offshore & land locations in OML’s 49-55, 89, 91 & 95 in the eastern and western areas of the Niger Delta. CNL proposes to carry out an Environmental Impact Assessment study to support drilling campaign for development wells in Isan West field located in OML 49 of its North Offshore Assets.
In line with the requirements of the Department of Petroleum Resource’s (DPR) Environmental Guidelines and Standards for the Petroleum Industry in Nigeria (EGASPIN, 2002), CNL commissioned Rain Forest Limited to carry out an Environmental Impact Assessment study. This EIA report provides information intended to establish the existing environmental conditions and provide an assessment of impacts associated with the proposed drilling activities in the field. The EIA report will also support CNL’s application for environmental permits for effluent/waste discharge for development drilling activities in Isan West field.

Environmental Impact Assessment Of The Iganmu-Mile 2 Gas Pipeline Relocation Project Lagos State
Lespray Engineering Limited, an engineering and construction company proposes to carry out the Iganmu-Mile 2 Gas Pipeline Relocation Project. The objectives of the project are to relocate an 8” by 5.5-kilometre gas pipeline from Iganmu to Mile 2 exchange via Orile in conformance to internationally accepted industry codes and standard which shall be safe, operable and maintainable; and optimize and maintain the overall project development plan to meet the target dates. The project shall also facilitate the proposed expansion/rehabilitation of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway embarked upon by the Lagos State Government.
Lespray Engineering Limited contracted Rain Forest Limited to conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment study following the requirements of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) as it relates to Federal Ministry of Environment (FMEnv.) EIA Act of 1992 and the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) Environmental Guidelines and Standards for the Petroleum Industry in Nigeria (EGASPIN, 2002). It is also in line with Lespray’s policy on sustainable development.

ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT STUDY FOR BASF LIMITED PROPOSED PRODUCTION SITE EXPANSION PROJECT LAGOS STATE – 2018
BASF, a chemical company with its headquarters in Ludwigshafen, Germany has manufacturing facilities all over the world producing a variety of chemicals. As part of its business plan to meet demands in West Africa, has established a production site for the manufacture of construction chemicals in llupeju Lagos State, Nigeria. BASF West Africa Limited is proposing to expand and modify the factory located at Ilupeju which will accommodate the manufacture of grinding aids.
In line with this, Rain Forest Limited was commissioned to undertake a comprehensive Environmental Assessment of the proposed production site expansion project for the manufacture of construction chemical located at the Ilupeju Industrial layout, Lagos State.
